Karen Shurden, 69, died peacefully after an illness on January 27th, 2018.  She is survived by her son Jordan Reyes, cousins Carlos "Chucky" Benitez and Mandy Pena and her godchild Mecca Ann Hutchings. She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.  She was a beautiful, gentle soul who was loved deeply.  She will be dearly missed.  A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Vigil Service at 12:00 Noon at Habing Family Funeral Home.  A Mass will also be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:30 PM at St. Mary Church, Gilroy.
