KAREN ASH passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at Kaiser Santa Teresa Hospital. Wife of Juan Alvarado of San Martin. Daughter of Wilma Ash of San Martin and the late Jack L. Ash.
Sister of Ken Ash and Kathy Bradish both of San Martin; Krisann Villarruel (Salvador) of Gilroy. Aunt of Eddie Bradish(Nicole), Michelle Wilson(Thomas), Melissa Guevara(Nicholas), Alicia Villarruel, Rebeccah Villarruel and Janessa Villarruel. Great-aunt of Joshua, Jaiden, Julian, Madison and Sofia. Also survived by her extended family members. A native of San Jose, CA. Age 56.
Raised in San Martin. Graduated from Live Oak High School, Stanislaus State University and Santa Clara University. Dedicated General Manager of Nature Quality Frozen Foods in San Martin for the past 26 years. Co-owner of JK Trucking in San Martin with her husband since 1996

Visitation Friday, May 13, 2011 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Services Saturday, May 14, 2011 – 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy. Donations to the American Cancer Society in Karen's name preferred.
