Julio Cruz was born on May 3, 1979 in Calexico Ca. He moved to Gilroy and lived there for some years. He met Dina Lujan and the moment he laid eyes on her he couldn't help but to fall in love with her smile and her personality. Julio was preceded in death by his Father and his Mother, Manuel Cruz and Cansuelo Nunez Cruz. Julio survived by his wife Dina Lujan, His children Izaiah Lujan and Brianna Lujan, and his one and only grandson, Joziah Cruz Lujan along with his son in law, Teddy H.

Julio loved his family so much and made sure that they had everything they needed. He worked very hard to provide for his family and to make sure they had a roof over there head and food on the table. Julio got really sick with type 2 diabetes, kidney failure, and vascular disease in his legs. He had to stop working but he made sure he had some sort of income to provide for his family. He never let anything stop him. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.

Julio enjoyed music and barbecuing, his specialty was tri tip. He always knew how to enjoy the little things in life with his family! Julio was suffering from his medical issues and soon enough, they got the best of him. On June 22, 2022 the lord called him home very fast and unexpectedly. Julio will no longer be suffering and dealing with diabetes, kidney failure, vascular disease or dialysis. He no longer needs to be in and out of the hospital every few months without his family. He will now be with the lord, pain and suffering free. He will remain by his wife, kids, grandson and son in law forever in spirit and in their hearts.
