Juan Mancera was born in Santa Cruz, Guanajuato, Mexico on March 27, 1938 to parents Espiridion and Maria Magdalena. He came to America around the age of 7, where he worked tirelessly as a migrant farmworker. He married his childhood sweetheart, Filomena in 1962 and together they had 7 beautiful children named Raul (deceased), Marta (deceased), Juanita, Martha, Antonio, Teresa, and Felipe. After the passing of his first love in 2005, Juan married two years later to Blanca. He passed away peacefully in his home on April 22nd, 2021. He is survived by his wife, five children, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. His memory, his fiery spirit, and his love for family will live on in the hearts of his descendants for generations to come.
