Josiah Santos Duyao, 16 of Los Banos, CA passed away July 8, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on March 26, 2001 in Gilroy, CA and attended Pacheco High School in Los Banos.

Josiah loved music and sports. He was an All Star High School basketball player and played on the Gilroy traveling team. He loved a variety of music and played the saxophone, guitar and piano.  He also enjoyed writing poetry.

Josiah's smile and contagious laugh will forever be missed. Josiah loved people and was always willing to help a friend. He was a great example to his peers. Josiah was motivated, kind, generous and always aspiring to new levels. He had just started learning photography and pursuing sports and fitness modelling.

He was quiet, but lit up the room with his smile and charming personality.

Josiah is survived by his parents Rick and Deanna, his sisters Desiree, Jessica, Gabrielle and Alyssa and many other loved ones including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his pets.

Visitation Friday, July 21, 2017 - 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.  Funeral Services Saturday, July 22, 2017 - 10:00 AM at The Pentecostal Church, 2340 Technology Parkway, Hollister, CA  95023.  Then to Gilroy High School Gymnasium for Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM.
Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
