Joseph Ronald Duarte, age 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 18, 2012 in Gilroy, CA. Beloved husband of Joyce Duarte for 40 years. Loving father of Joey (Barbara) Duarte, Tina Garcia and the late James Duarte. Dear grandfather of James Riley.

He was a volunteer for the Garlic Festival, Gilroy Car Shows, and all Antique Shows in Gilroy for many years. He also enjoyed working on his farm and riding his Harley. He was always willing to help everyone. He will be missed by all.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012, at 9:30 A.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
