It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and cherished friend Josefina (Fina) Silva Gonzales.

Josefina was a selfless loving and caring wife and mother. She loves to cook, sew, and make blankets for her loved ones. Her families happiness was her number one priority. She dedicated her life to being the best wife and mother. Josefina was generous with her heart, love, and attention. She loved being surrounded by family and having great conversation.

Josefina was born in Brownsville Texas on September 24, 1933. She was a resident of Gilroy California for the past 52 years. She entered into eternal peace on October 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Josefina is survived by her sons Andrew Cardenas, and Juan Manuel Gonzales, daughter-in-law Cathy Gonzales, grandson Raymond Cardenas, brothers Jose and Roberto Silva, sisters-in-law and life long friends Delia Burrola and Maria Cisneros, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 50 years Fidel Gonzales, her parents Marcelino and Marcela Silva, her sisters Maria Naranjo and Esperanza Silva, and brother Jesus Silva.
