IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jose
Tarin
November 19, 1956 – October 31, 2019
Jose "Joe Cash" Tarin Sr. departed this life on October 31 st 2019 at 5 pm. He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco G. Tarin, brothers Miguel and Domingo Tarin, and four nephews and his grandson Anthony James Cortez. He is survived by his wife, Rosa M. Tarin, sons: Jose (Marcella)Tarin and Marco Tarin, daughters: Veronica (Ralph) Cortez and Rocio (Hugo) Mosqueda and eleven grandchildren. Joe Cash leaves behind his mother Conception Tarin, siblings: Conception, Francisco, Alejandra, Maria, Chris, Juana, Manuela, Ruth, Lupe, Eulojio, Lorenzo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jose was born in Eloy, AZ on November 19, 1956, grew up in San Martin, CA and settled in Morgan Hill, CA. One of 14 siblings, Jose attended school at San Martin Gwinn and Lewis H Britton. He would spend most of his adolescent years working to help support his family. He worked a short time in the Peace Corps and eventually found his trade for 30 years as a machine operator at Grief Bros.
As a father, Jose, was constantly showering his children with gifts, affection, and admiration. He constantly spoiled his children, rarely disciplined them, but always loved them. He taught his children to respect and treat everyone with an open mind, regardless of preceding reputation. He often lectured his children, nieces, and nephews on the value of a good education and emphasized the importance of educational opportunity, because he had to forgo his education to support family.
As a grandfather, "Ampa" often doted behind and around with his grandchildren playing, dancing, and cooking at their whim. He often played "student" to his grandchildren's lectures or was the patient of his adolescent caregivers. For Jose, bringing smiles to his grandchildren was often accompanied with cookies and candy at the behest of his children's request.
Jose was always one to seek out and be the cause of smiles and laughter around him. He was the type of person to offer anything he possessed, so long as it brought a smile. Jose was often seen enthusiastically watching sports programs, especially his Raiders, and cheering on his children at baseball games, softball games, karate tournaments, wrestling matches and various dance classes. Being an aficionado of all things vehicular, he owned various cars and motorcycles: a Camaro, Caprice, Monte Carlo, Ford F150, Honda CB 200, Chevrolet S10, and Silverado. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of all the people he came in contact with. Know that Jose would never have wanted to be the source of sad grieving faces. The void left in his absence may never be completely filled but he would have wanted everyone he loved to seek out the happiness needed to move on.
