Jose Luis Ramirez left to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, Mexico on June 21, 1933 and was married to the late Isabel "Chavela" Amaro on December 29, 1957.

Jose worked as an agricultural farmer and enjoyed running his own business. He also was a practicing Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Parish.

Jose was a loving and devoted father. His hobbies included spending time out at the ranch with his pal "Patches" and taking road trips with friends to the casinos.

Jose is survived by his beloved daughters, Rachel Muñoz, Mary Ann Ramirez, Elizabeth Ramirez and son Joey Ramirez; granddaughter Victoria Marie Ramirez; grandsons, Jose Muñoz, Matt and Mark Ramirez Norris; great granddaughter, Aubrey Mia Ramirez and his loving dog and best friend "Patches".

Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Habing Family Funeral Home with Rosary service at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 28, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by entombment at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.

Donations to St. Joseph Family Center or charity of your choice would be preferred.
