Jonathan Aaron Flores was born on March 22, 1996 and went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2015.

He has been a member of Power In Praise Ministries church since he was born, totaling 19 years.

He attended Las Animas Elementary school from 1st through 5th grade then promoted to Ascencion Solorsano Middle School for 6th,7th, and 8th grade.

He then moved on to Dr. TJ Owen's Gilroy Early College Academy for his freshman, sophomore, and first semester of his junior year. Then moved on to Gilroy High School where he played on the varsity football team.

After graduating from High School, Jonathan went to Colima, Colima Mexico to volunteer as a Missionary at Casa Hogar orphanage. Their he took care of the day to day needs of boys from the ages of 6-12 years old. He was in Mexico for three months.
When Jonathan returned from Mexico he began to work at Chuck E Cheese and attended Gavilan College with the hopes of becoming a police officer.

Jonathan did a lot of volunteer work for the City of Gilroy Parks and Recreation Summer Program, YMCA after school program, City of Gilroy Garlic Festival, and anywhere else that they would allow him to help out.

Jonathan was loved by many because he loved many. He loved to help people and his goal was to make this world a better place to live for all. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In his short life he touched so many lives and for this reason he will never be forgotten.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his Grandfather Carmen D. Rascon from Lindsay, Calfornia.

He is survived by his parents, Eduardo and Rebecca Plaza. His two brothers, Matthew and Andrew Plaza. His Grandparents, Antonio and Andrea (Garcia) Rodriguez (Tulare) and Pedro and Melania (Mata) Plaza (Hollister). His Aunts and Uncles, Edgar & Veronica Gutierrez(Hollister), Derek & Alva Rodriguez(Fremont), Josue & Sheila Plaza(Hollister), Pedro Plaza Jr.(lndiana), Rachel Flores(Tulare), Ezekiel & Ramona Gomez (Madera), Rita Ventura (Tulare). Cousins: Joe Anthony & Benjamin Flores, Adam ~~ Jessie Rascon, Antanette & Nicole Flores, Christina Lucio, Elijah, Grace, & Trinity Gomez, Angelica, Giovanni, Jeremiah, Madison, & Maribel Plaza, Valeria & Isabella Gutierrez, Ava Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.
