Obituary
John Earl Johnston, age 82, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2016 at his home in Gilroy. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty Johnston. Loving father of Teri and Lisa Johnston; cherished grandfather of John Sumner, Julie Stoffers, James Redwine and Lacey; dearest great-grandfather of John and Kyra Sumner; dear brother of Kay Gameiro and Bill Johnston.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Washington. He was a pilot for TWA for 40 years before retiring as a Captain. He will be very missed by all his family and friends.
A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 - 11:00 AM at Habing Family Funeral Home.
