Father of Jennifer Swanson (Dick) of Modesto, CA, Alice Vaughan (Don) of Greer, SC, Caroll Burts (Ken) of Modesto, CA, Ellen Williams (Doug) of Cupertino, CA and Sean Hart of Boise, ID. Grandfather of 14. Great-Grandfather of 20. Step-Father of Joy Gradwohl (Ray) of San Jose, CA, Mark Dickson (Joan) of Hollister, CA Neil Dickson (Mary) of Sunnyvale, CA. Step-Grandfather of 5. Brother of Richard Hart (Dottie) of Asheville, NC, Mary Forte(Bob) of Ridgewood, NJ and the late Eunice Martin. A native of Morristown, TN.
US Navy Veteran of World War II. Member, Elder and Teacher at South Valley Community Church, Gilroy and past Member, Deacon and Teacher at the First Baptist Church of Los Altos. Retired Mechanical Engineer/Manager from Lockheed-Martin in 1987. Loved and beloved by numerous family and friends.

Memorial Services Thursday, February 24, 2011 – 2:00 PM at South Valley Community Church, 8095 Kelton Drive, Gilroy, CA 95020.

Family burial service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos, CA.
