Proud father and devoted husband, Joe Chapa's love of life did not come to an end with his passing. Joe passed away on May 6, 2021 at the age of 43, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Joe met the love of his life, Elsa, over 30 years ago, while attending school. Together they had three beautiful children, a son, Joe and two daughters, Brianna and Bernadette, all of whom he took extreme pride in, and of course their beloved pet Syra. Joe was preceded in death by his sisters Sandy and Virginia "Annette". He is also survived by his Mother, Virginia, his step father, Jorge, his daughter Sienna, brothers Bobby (David) and Donald, many nieces and nephews and an incredible network of friends who he considered family.

The simplest pleasures in life were a source of great happiness for Joe. He loved to enjoy a beer with his friends, taking his Harley out for a ride with his family, and showcasing his deep passion for the Raiders as one of their most devoted fans. To know Joe was to love him, his bold and comedic personality was contagious and he was always the life of the party. He was able to keep people rolling in laughter because he would find the humor in even the most unassuming of life circumstances, everyone has a Joe story that is guaranteed to make you laugh.

Joe will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him, may he rest in eternal peace.
