Joanne Barry Huff was affectionately known as Joby, Mom, Nana, Little Sis, Mrs. H, "Tuff Huff" and friend was born September 25, 1936, and passed away on December 15, 2009, at the young age of 73. Joby was preceded in death by the love of her life James "Jim" Huff on May 14, 2006, and is survived by her daughter Katherine (Jenai) Huff and her husband Doug Ingolsby, daughter Terri Sanders, and daughter Ann Deak and husband Terry Deak; grandchildren Frank Sanders and wife Andi Sanders, James Sanders, Randolf Sanders, Tanya Sanders, Lewis Deak and Alyssa Deak; and great grandson Godric Sanders, brother Thomas Barry and wife Sharon and sister-in-law Carolyn Barry.
Joby "Tuff" Huff devoted over 35 years teaching the youth of Gilroy. Joby was an inspiration to her family, friends, and students, touching all she met with her abundant spirit, sense of humor, beautiful smile and deep faith. She loved her family and friends so very much and they loved her back and is greatly missed by all.
The Rosary will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009, at 7:00 P.M. at the Habing Family Funeral Home at 129 Fourth Street, Gilroy, CA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church at 11 First Street, Gilroy, CA. Please remember to sign the guest book.
