He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Jimmy was the light of the party, faith and family were a great part of his life growing up and his love of the Lord. He served the Lord leading a Christian boys group named Royal Rangers. Taking along a few of the neighborhood boys and many of his nephews on camping trips with many other families in his church. Living his life with the biggest sense of humor, but most of all his passion was playing jokes on all of those he loved and touched. Throughout his life he traveled to Mexico with large groups of family and friends during spring break. A man of many trades turning trash into treasure and at one time his phone ring tone was Sandford and Son theme song. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, building birdhouse, flea markets, and always the first one at the garage sales. Barbequing for family functions and always stopped to help others. He had a love for all of the Lords creations, rescuing many dogs during his life and other pets. A huge Raiders fan and he even named one of his dogs "Raider". A great man with a golden heart always giving and spreading his kindness towards others as he journeyed through this earth. His larger than life personality will always be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Although Jimmy was waiting on the heart transplant list for a new heart he already had a heart of Gold and that's the way he wanted it to be.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 - 10:00 AM at New Hope Community Church, 8886 Muraoka Drive, Gilroy.
Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.
