Jesse Velasquez, 89 a long time resident of Monterey, Ca. peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Bend, Or. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ida Velasquez; 10 of their 11 sons; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Pablo.
Jesse is known for his loving and caring ways. He was a great provider retiring from Safeway Stores after 25 years. He courageously served his country in WWII receiving an honorable discharge.
