Jess R. Alonzo Sr. "Coach", age 77 of Gilroy, CA, born September 30, 1941 passed away peacefully of Alzheimer's on January 16, 2019 with his daughter by his side in Phoenix Arizona.

Jess was known as Coach, He coached Stagg football for the Titans, Trojans & Spartans in the mid 70's,  then coached Pal/Pop warner in the 80's. Jess had a big impact on many young men during his coaching years.

Jess worked for the school district and was a jack of all trades.

He is survived by his 4 children; Jess Alonzo Jr., Michael Alonzo, Leticia Baldonado and Lorraine Snapp. Jess is survived by his 11 grandchildren and 3 great grand children along with his Brothers Robert, Raul, Paul, Rudy, Charlie and sister Nellie Trevino.

Preceded in death by parents Petra & Jose Alonzo, Sisters Margaret, Clara, Stella and brother Jose (Tutie).

Dad: You will be missed, Never Forgotten and Forever Loved by many.

A Memorial Mass will be held on March 28, 2019 at St. Mary's Church at 12 noon along with prays for our uncle Jose (Tutie). Burial at St. Mary Cemetery where both brothers will be laid to rest, followed by prayer by his brother Paul. Celebration of Life for both brothers continues at the Vets Hall in Gilroy CA.
