Jerry was born the fourth child in San Jose, CA from Howard "Howie" Leland Wright and Marion "Mickey" Alice (Peck) Wright. Jerry's parents married at the Presbyterian Church in Gilroy, CA and were married for over 50 years. They had three sons; Howard Leland "Lee" Wright, Jr., Jordan "Jody" Stephan Wright, and one daughter Deborah "Debbie" LaVonne Wright. Soon after Jerry was born, the family traveled to Arroyo Grande, CA, but only to stay one year. Then, off to Lordship, CT for 6 years of fun in the snow and sailing on the ocean in our little excluded ocean town in the summers. The family visited New York to enjoy Rockefeller Center and experience the big city. Then off to San Antonio, TX, just in time to watch HemisFair built in 1968 (the World's Fair). After 5 years in TX, we stopped by Oklahoma City, OK for a year before heading back to Gilroy, California. Jerry married Pamila Dixon and had four children: Laura, Jonathan, Stacey and Christy and lived in Morgan Hill, CA. After divorcing, Jerry set to the road in the Trucking business. After suffering Diabetes complications he became permanently disabled. Jerry was later diagnosed with skin Cancer and lived a zestful life after treatment for 4 additional years. Jerry had a love of life and did not let anything stop him from living it to the fullest. Whether it was traveling, playing Farkel, Uno, going to Church or family events, or even collecting pens, nothing was going to hold him back. Therefore, when he was taken to be with our Lord, it was peaceful and swift shortly after returning from a trip. Jerry also left a legacy of "doers" in his children. Laura is entering a Master's program soon while working. Jonathan is super busy as a father of three and owner/property management. Stacey cares for little ones and pursuing a Nursing Career, and Christy… a talented stage actress, sales manager or as a counselor.
