Jennifer Christine (Pavicich) Murphy a resident of Morgan Hill for 6 years, passed away on Thursday August 11th after a brave battle against leukemia. Known as Miss JP and Jen, she is survived by her loving husband; Edward (Eddie) Murphy and their two precious sons; Nathan, 4 and Camden, 2. She is survived by her father; Michael Pavicich Sr., her mother and stepfather; Nancy & Bill Strohmeyer , sister and brother-in-law; Andrea & Dan Whitson; brother; Michael Pavicich, Jr. and nephews, Connor, Logan and Trevor Whitson. Also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Jim & Kathy Murphy, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Terry & Sue Barker, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Jeff & Rose Barker, sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Patty & Brigham Sears and nieces & nephews; Makena, Colin, Emma, Murphy, Madelyn, Patrick & Brody.

She started dancing at age 2 and began teaching and choreography at Lana's Dance Studio (which became her extended family) in Morgan Hill, 11 years ago leading her dancers to Championships. She inspired and touched the hearts of her students and their families.

After attending Deanza College and San Jose State, Jen worked as an Assistant Controller in the Mortgage Industry and in Accounting/Finance for South Bay Mortgage. Always dancing she moved into teaching dance and creating incredible routines with her choreography as her main career.

She participated in her Mom's Running Group, Mom's Reading Group and play groups for the boys. The love she generated was felt by all. Always making new friends but treasuring those friends from elementary through college, Dance Studio friends, Church friends, Dance Teams, music, etc.

What Jen treasured the most was her adoring husband and beautiful sons. Family and Holiday celebrations brought her joy.

Miss JP (Jen) was loved by many and will truly be missed. She is truly our Angel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016, 2:00 PM at St. Catherine's Church, Morgan Hill.
