Jennie "Juana" Salgado, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 30, 2014 in Gilroy, CA. She was preceded by her loving husband Raymond. She was the beloved mother of George, Art (Gina), Eddie, Ronnie (Rosie), Donnie, Andrew (Lupe), Kathy, Alex (Geneva), Johnny (Debbie) and Edie, loving grandma of 35, great grandma of 53 and great-great-grandma of 8. She was the dear sister of Paul and Alfonso Gamino and the late Tony, Leo, Phyllis and Lucy. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.


Some of her favorite things to do were to play Bingo, go to Casinos, attend all her children and grandchildren's ball games. She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 5:30 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th Street, Gilroy, CA. Funeral Mass will be Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy, CA followed by burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
