Obituary

Jeffrey Lee Circuit passed away peacefully in his home after a lengthy battle with cancer on Thursday, March 11th surrounded by his family.

Jeff was born December 7, 1937 in Santa Monica, California to Edwin Geoffrey Circuit and Velois Patricia Circuit. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hilton Circuit, their four children; Jeff H. Circuit (Renee), Chris Schilling (Scott), Greg Circuit (Melinda), and Wendy Circuit-Stoev (Georgio). Twelve grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Kaye Campbell and Susan Randall.

As a child, Jeff attended many different schools in several states ultimately graduating from New Trier Township high school in Winnetka, Illinois. Jeff then attended Brigham Young University before joining the Air Force Reserve for a six month active duty where he earned the prestigious American Spirit Honor medal. During his service, Jeff was also awarded a Certification of Achievement for Outstanding Performance of Academic Duties and Leadership.

Jeff went on to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Great Britain. After his mission, he attended University of Utah where he graduated in 1963. While at the U, Jeff was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and served in student government. Jeff was also elected President of the Intercollegiate Knights. It was also at the University of Utah where Jeff met the love of his life, Judy Hilton - they were married September 27, 1963, and have been happily married for 57 years.

Jeff began his career in printing sales at Deseret Press in Salt Lake City. Jeff also worked for RR Donnelley & Sons, World Color Press and he finished his career as Senior Vice President of Northwestern Sales at Quebecor World.

Jeff was a life-long member of the LDS church and volunteered in many roles, including his service as Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts, a position he loved and which allowed him to share his love of the outdoors with many young men.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who's favorite hobbies included fishing of all kinds, reading, collecting stamps and coins, traveling and cruising. Jeff was an eternal optimist and devoted
family man who will be missed dearly by all those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held in Jeff's honor on Thursday, March 18th at 1:00 pm at the LDS Chapel located at 1790 E Dunne Ave, Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
