Javier was born in Jalisco, Mexico. He was survived by his parents, mom Celia Diaz Hernandez, dad Manuel Meza Diaz, 10 siblings, wife-lifetime best friend, Lisa Marie Nunez, father of Cristina-Marie Celia Meza, legal guardian/parent of Danelle Baltazar.

Javier was a Gilroy resident, and well known from the locals for riding his bike throughout town, wearing his sombrero with a big smile on his face. Socializing with anyone he came into contact with. Javier was a kind hearted person always happy and making people laugh. Always knew how to light up a room.

You will be forever missed, our guardian angel, sing and dance with the angels. Love you, Lisa and Cristina.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. followed by a vigil service at 4:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th St., Gilroy. Funeral Mass will be Monday, June 11, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's followed by burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
