Javier was born 12/1/65 at Wheeler Hospital in Gilroy California to Frank and Lupe Castaneda. His sudden and unexpected death on 7/5/22 has affected so many that new and love him and will forever leave a void that can't be filled. He was a genuine man and God doesn't make men like him anymore. He had a beautiful smile, a mischievous  laugh, a heart of gold, and a trusting soul. Heaven gained a good one and he will be missed.

Javier grew up in Gilroy attending schools: Rucker, South Valley and Gilroy High School. He loved fishing, car shows with his buddies, casino trips with his mom and of course, he loved talking, LOL! He was a good one for some tall tales. Always running on '`Harv Time" as he would call it, never on time and always the last to leave. He worked for Nob Hill Food for 12 years coming to a career change to follow in his father's foots steps. Harv gained his Class A license and drove a truck for over 21 years and was thankful for Vinnie Fortino for showing him the ropes. He loved driving, and he was good at it.

Javier is survived by Denyse Owen, J.C. (son) Cortnie (daughter) Lupe Castaneda (mother) Esther (sister) Sammy, Frankie, Eddie (brothers) cousins to Jimmy Castaneda & Marina, Ricky & Rachelle Castaneda, Linda, Bobby, Anthony Lucio, Lisa & Robert Alonzo, Rick, Christina, Lala Nellie Castaneda, Raul, Carlos, Marcos Castaneda, Gloria, Alice, Mary, Cecilia, Rosie, Michelle, Elizabeth and Marcos of L.B., HA HA to Jayden Rochester & many nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles.

Preceded in death by his father, Frank Castaneda, his sister Teri Gonzales, his cousins Judy Hernandez, Jimmy & Bobby Castaneda and Uncle Roger.
