Janet passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 1, 2018. She had Alzheimer's.  Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandma and sister.  Always in our hearts she will live.

Survived by her children, Steve (Lori) Jeske, Carole (Jeske) Braquet and proceeded in death by her son David Jeske. Grandchildren, Devin (Victoria) Hogue, Katie (Julian) Hogue, Stephen Jeske, Christopher Jeske and Justin Jeske. Great grandchildren, Allie, Serenity, Mason, Tatyanna, Yesenia, Jeremy, Nevaeh, Devin and Brayden.  Proceeded in death by her husband Richard (Dick) Jeske.

One of seven children, survived by brothers Sam West and Jim West, she was born in Port Huron, MI. After graduating from Port Huron High School she went to work at Woolworth's where she met Richard, they married then moved to Gilroy in 1957, had 3 children then headed back to Port Huron until 1972 when they came back to live in Gilroy. She worked at Gilroy Foods, her favorite job was Wheeler Hospital's Kitchen another favorite was "Ranch Milk" a drive-thru grocery. For fun she went everywhere with her "travel team" husband Dick and Jack & Evie Jeske. Loved to go to any function that her Children and Grandchildren took part in. She spent a great deal of time socializing with her friends at Hacienda Estates where she lived.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her Caregivers Julie Crocker and Audra Levine, best friend Shauna Suarez-Boaz and son in law Richard Braquet for their endless support.

A private graveside service will be held Monday, Feb. 12 at 12:00 pm at Gavilan Hills Memorial, 1000 First St. in Gilroy.   A "celebration of life" Lunch will be held Sunday, Feb. 18th at 1:00 pm at the Hacienda Estates Club House, 275 Burnett Ave. Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
