James Paul Redd passed away October 27, 2010 at the home he built in Gilroy. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Helen Redd in 1979; survived by his eight children Drucilla (Jim) Griffin of Ashland, OR, Loretta Martinez, Klamath Falls, OR, Mary (Jim) Garcia of Gilroy, Jim (Sharon) Redd of Eureka, CA, Margaret (Bill) Gregory, Klamath Falls, OR, Mike (Kristi) Redd of Klamath Falls, OR, Larry (Shelley) Redd of Klamath Falls, OR, and Debbie (Donald) Hopf of Gilroy; also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1great great grandchild. Jim was lovingly cared for in his final years by Al Roybal and Delmy Cienfuegos.
Jim was a resident of Gilroy for 66 years and a 50 year member of the Operating Engineers working for Radtke Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling in his motorhome.
Visitation will begin at 11 am followed by funeral services at 2 pm Saturday, November 6 at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
