Obituary
James Donald Garrigan longtime resident of Gilroy, California died July 21, 2012 of heart failure. JD Garrigan was born in Walden, New York on Aug. 8, 1925.
He and his wife Mary moved to Los Angeles in the late sixties with a transfer from IBM. After several years in L.A., he was transferred again to Gilroy, CA. He retired in 1979. He was a dedicated volunteer, both at St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Louise Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his first cousins Eileen Avvacato of Brooklyn, NY and Peggy Donneley of Walden, NY and niece Deborah Garrigan of Los Angeles, CA
Funeral Mass Friday, July 27, 2012 – 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy.
Entombment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy. A reception will follow.
Family would appreciate donations to St. Joseph's Family Center, 7950 Church St., Gilroy.
