James "Jim" Leon Beech (73) passed away peacefully with his family on Wednesday November 12, 2014. James was born in Neligh Nebraska and lived in San Bernardino, CA before settling in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Campbell High School in the late 50's. Jim met his wife Deloris through some mutual friends and they were married in San Bernardino on November 27, 1971.

Jim worked for the City of San Jose for 30 years and retired in 2003. Throughout his lengthy career he worked in many different assignments. He started as a mechanic working on the patrol cars for San Jose Police. He finished his career with the City as a roads inspector.

James had a passion for gardening and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed projects and was always remodeling and improving the family home.

James had a love like no other for his wife Deloris. He was a family man and always thought about how he could help others.
