IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacob "Jake"
Aguilera, Sr.
April 29, 1954 – September 28, 2025
Jacob "Jake" Aguilera Sr., 71 of Gilroy, California, passed away unexpectantly September 28, 2025, in San Jose, California. A devoted father, brother, and son, Jacob will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and the warmth he brought to every room he entered. His laughter, wisdom, and compassion touched countless lives, and his legacy will live on through the family and friends who loved him dearly.
Born on April 29, 1954, in Milpitas, California, Jacob was the son of Hope Aguilera and the late Joel Aguilera Sr. He grew up surrounded by a close-knit family, sharing a deep bond with his siblings, his sisters Judy Alexander (decreased) and Joyce Kubo, and his brothers Joel Aguilera II and James Aguilera Sr.
Jacob was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he received the National Defense Service Medal.
Jacob leaves behind his children Lucretia Aguilera "Witt "[Jason Witt], Jacob Aguilera Jr., Joshua Aguilera, and Joseph Aguilera [Sophia Ayala]. Jacob was a proud grandfather and leaves behind grandchildren Ila Aguilera, Bennett Aguilera, and Noah Witt. He was our number one fan.
Jacob had requested prior to not having a service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Jacob's generous spirit by helping another person in need, whether a small donation or an act of spiritual kindness. This is the legacy he would want.
