Irma Mendoza, who loved to be called "Mom" by her boys, departed her loving family and friends on July 24th, 2023, peacefully in her sleep to join her son, Robert Sanchez, her parents, brothers and sisters in heaven.

Irma Mendoza was known to many as La TexMex, she was born in Edinburg, Texas, on October 22, 1950 to Manuel Mendoza and Amina Mendoza (De La Paz).

Irma Mendoza was a mom to Robert M. Sanchez, George M. Molina Jr. and John Ross Molina. She loved and cherished her boys, family and friends.

As an electronics quality assurance inspector, she was known for having her name on all her pens and exacto knives, Irma Mendoza always loved taking trips, going to church and the casinos.

Irma Mendoza is survived by her sons, Robert M. Sanchez, George M. Molina Jr. (Crystal), John Ross Molina, Grandchildren Robert Sanchez Jr, Anthony Molina (Alexia ), Stephanie Sanchez (Julio Aguilar), Adrianna Molina, Perseus Alexander, George Molina Jr., Reymundo Sanchez, Rosilyn Molina, Leilani Molina, Raelyn Molina, Jude Molina, Joshua Molina, Great Grandchildren Anthony Robert Molina, Julio Aguilar Jr. and her brothers, brother-in laws, sisters, sister-in laws, daughter-in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 5-9pm at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th St., Gilroy, CA 95020.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 11, commencing at Habing Family Funeral Home at 9am, procession to follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park at 10am, 1000 St., Gilroy, CA 95020
