Inez Mabel Cooper Martin was born November 2, 1933 in Brownsville, Texas to parents Enos Ray and Mabel Cooper.

She passed from this life on April 6th, 2024, in the home she built with her husband, Lloyd Martin. She was 90 years old.

Inez and Lloyd were married March 5, 1950. They had four children, 10 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Sandy Moreno and Karen Blair and her son Robert Earl Martin, along with grandchildren Timothy Adams, Jeffrey Adams, Robert Adams, Kenny Moreno, Brian Moreno, Kari Ann Moreno, Daniel Blair, Kimberly Blair, Christopher Martin and Kyle Martin.

Preceding her in death was her eldest daughter Janice Adams, her husband Lloyd Martin, brothers Ray and Wayne Cooper and sister Evelyn Green.

She was laid to rest Saturday April 13th, 2024, at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.

Inez was a devoted follower of Christ and along with her husband of 63 years, raised her family in the faith to which they firmly held.

Deuteronomy 29:29 reads "The secret things belong to the Lord our God but the revealed things belong to you and your children forever…"

So often, the answers to our why questions remain secrets that God does not share with us. But the life of Grandma Martin was a thing revealed to us every day she lived. We take with us her example of a devoted and loving wife and mother; her strength through both hard and good times. We take a thousand memories from around her kitchen table and her pride in the family she raised.

And most especially we will take with us forever, the precious days we spent around her bedside as we sang praises to our Lord and Savior as she raised her hand in worship and to direct our voices toward heaven, where she is now at home.
