IDA DESIMONE passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at her home in Chico, CA surrounded by her family. Husband of 37 years to Rick Desimone. Mother of Michael Desimone (Socorro) of Chico, Lisa Wharton (Russell) of Gilroy, Carlotta Van Etten (Waposta) of Chico and Raquel Mattice (Asa) of Chico. Grandmother of Roman, Michael, Alice, Aidan, Ezekiel, Micco and Richard. Sister of Jose Arellano of China, Marina Arellano of Morgan Hill, Rachel Martinez (Victor) of Gilroy, Peter Arellano of Gilroy, Lupe Arellano (Roberto) of Gilroy and Michael Arellano (Anne) of San Jose. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Daughter of the late Jose & Bessie Arellano.

Visitation Thursday, February 23, 2012 beginning at 1:00 PM with Vigil at 7:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home.

Memorial Mass Friday, February 24, 2012 of 10:00 AM at St Mary's Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy.
