It is with great sadness that the McCarry Family announces the passing of Hugh Joseph McCarry

Hugh passed away suddenly on June 2nd at the age of 55. He was born in Weaverville, California to Dennis and Ellen McCarry, the oldest of 7 children. Hugh graduated from San Jose State in 1983. He had a successful career in Cost Accounting/Project Analyst and worked for ARB, Inc. in Fairfield. Hugh was the kindest and most thoughtful people in this world. He was a great photographer and enjoyed taking pictures of his family and friends, he was never without his camera. He loved his SF 49ers, SF Giants, ND Football, and SJ Sharks. Hugh enjoyed going to sporting events and musical concerts of all varieties.


Hugh is preceded in death by his mother(Ellen) and brother(Joseph). He is survived by his father Dennis, siblings: Dennis McCarry, Brian McCarry(Sheri), Mary Gosting (Mike), John McCarry(Karen), Kathleen Heim(John) and nieces and nephews: Joey, Maddie, Denny, Cailin, Sierra, Clare, Owen and Chet. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all his family and friends.

Vigil Service Monday, June 8, 2015 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 9, 2015 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
