Esperanza " Hope " Sanchez was welcomed into heaven by her daughter Cecilia on 02-12-22. Hope was a small woman with a giant heart and an immense amount of strength. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was the voice of reason and the Matriarch of her family. Her laughter and smile were contagious and the love for her family was simply remarkable. She had an enormous amount of pride to tell everyone and anyone that would listen that she had 10 children. Who would have ever known a little woman from Kansas would come to California to find her soulmate and impact so many lives. Her traditions, fundamentals and love for life, will forever live on through her family.

Hope was married to the love of her life, Xavier for 73 years. Together they had 10 children Domingo, Genevieve, Xavier, Anita, Joe, George, Michael, Martha, Elias, Cecilia.

Hope was very proud and loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Habing Family Funeral Home.  A Vigil/Rosary will also be held at 7:00 pm.

There will be a short Visitation on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at  9:30 am followed by a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church.

Burial will immediately follow the Mass at St. Mary's Church.
