Hildegard Maria Kramer, beloved grandmother, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023, at 87 years old, after a very full life. Hilda was deeply passionate about her calling as registered nurse. She began her career as a midwife in Germany, moving on to labor and delivery, and finally, surgical nurse before retiring. Hilda immigrated to the United States in the 1950's, where her and her husband Frank started their family. She was a driven woman who always achieved her goals, even constructing her own home. She was best known for her amazing cooking, lush gardens, sewing and knitting skills, and full-hearted laugh. She is fondly remembered as a strong, independent, and highly intelligent woman. Hilda is survived and missed by her five children, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In passing, she is reunited in heaven with her husband Frank, her son Rolf, and her grandson Nikolaus.
