Herbert Jarome Cantrell, 96 years old. He passed away March 16, 2025 at St. Louise Hospital in Gilroy, CA.

Herbert Cantrell was a World War II Veteran, went to school for aviation just after World War II and had many passions in life. He enjoyed flying his two Cessna aircraft for many years. He also enjoyed his 80 acre dairy farm in McMinnville, OR.

In 2013, he entered into loving matrimony with Rebecca Cortez-Cantrell and stayed with her in Morgan Hill, CA until his death.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca as well as his relatives, friends and all of whom will miss him deeply.

Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Friday March 28, 2025 at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
