Henry Sanchez—died peacefully at home in Morgan Hill, CA on January 6, 2021 after a long illness on the eve of his 90th birthday. Beloved husband of Magda Sanchez; late son of Geronimo and Soledad Sanchez; loving stepfather to Estella Navarro, Consuelo Rodriguez, Mary Oropeza, Cia Meehan, BJ Oropeza; dear brother to Rudy Sanchez, Martha Rivera, Rory Burrell, Olivia Sandoval, and the late Richard, Armand, and Jerry. He was beloved "Lelo" and Grandpa to Susan Arioto, Louise Lofgren, Toni Pacheco, Margo Nanez, Monica Sweet, Jacob Meehan, Victoria Garcia, Rebeca Wolfe, Jared Oropeza, and Justin Oropeza; great grandfather of thirteen, great, great grandfather of four; dear uncle to thirty-eight. A native of Flagstaff, AZ, the family moved to San Francisco, CA and later settled in San Jose, CA.
Celebration of Life to take place when allowed by COVID. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society or American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
