Helen Mae Serpa, aged 91, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2024, in Gilroy, California. Born on October 11, 1932, to Thomas and Virginia Silva of Hollister, Helen lived a vibrant life filled with love and laughter. She married her high school sweetheart, Jack Serpa, and together they moved to San Jose in 1950, building a life filled with cherished memories.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Toni McGarry, son-in-law, Sean McGarry, and grandson, Michael McGarry, all of Gilroy, California. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Serpa, and her sister, Alice Carriero.

Helen was more than just a mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law; she was a beacon of joy, known for her saucy spirit and zest for life. Her laughter filled every room, and her love touched the hearts of all who knew her. Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of warmth and joy will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
