Hector was larger than life—a good man with a heart full of love and generosity. He was fiercely loyal, endlessly kind, and always ready to give to those he cared about. His family and his cats meant everything to him, and he had a way of turning friends into family wherever he went. With his infectious laughter and magnetic personality, Hector made an unforgettable impact on everyone he met.

A passionate football fan, he lived and breathed the game, staying a die-hard Baltimore Ravens supporter through and through.

For a remarkable young man that was taken far too soon, Hector's strength and selflessness defined him from an early age. While still in high school, he honorably took on the responsibility of caring for his younger siblings as his mother, Noelia, battled illness and after her passing. Balancing school, sports, theatre, and work, he sacrificed his own ambitions to ensure his siblings had the opportunities he missed. His love and dedication to his family never wavered, and now he is reunited with his beloved mother in heaven.

Hector is survived by his father, Hector; his stepmother, Maria; his siblings, Sergio, Luis, and Nohely; his partner Valerrie; his two sons, Baloo and Mowgli; and all the family and friends who loved him deeply. For Hector, his brothers were his best friends, and his best friends were his brothers.

A service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Habing Family Funeral Home (129 4th Street, Gilroy, CA 95020) from 10 AM to 2 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at The Neon Exchange (7365-7371 Monterey St, Gilroy, CA 95020) at 3:30 PM.
