IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold Robert
Van Winkle
November 7, 1925 – December 1, 2023
Harold Robert Van Winkle pased away peacefully in his sleep. He had just turned 98 years old in November.
He was the youngest of six children. He was a truck driver for many years working long distance and them settling into local gigs. He worked hard and was a private person with only a few close friends.
He loved spending time with family and seeing all the pictures of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was quiet at times but loved a good joke and talking about Peterbilt trucks with his son-in-law.
He is survived by his daughter Phylis (Mike), grandchildren Ariel Corrales (Julius), Dominique Mantelli, Amanda Leyva (Sammy), Nicholaus Van Winkle and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Brian Van Winkle and his grandson Linton Kludt.
His request was to be cremated and his ashes spread across the ocean.
There will be a memorial service for him in late January.
