Guadalupe R. Vega, 79 passed away on June 14, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, Isaac L. Vega. She is survived by children, Teresa Vega, Rose Mitre, Anthony Vega, Isaac Vega, Yolanda Vega, Rosie Epler and Leonard Vega; 10 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Rebecca Nicole Young. Guadalupe was a longtime resident of South County and a retired cannery worker. She was a Volunteer Worker at St. Louise Regional Hospital. Her favorite hobbies were playing Bingo and going to casinos, along with spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2011 from 1 PM to 4:30 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 First St., Gilroy.

Vigil service will be Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gilroy at 6 PM.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
