Gracia F. Hunter, daughter of Fred Julius Arnberg and Ruby Arnberg (nee Ross), peacefully passed away Friday, September 26th, 2014 in San Jose, California surrounded by her family. She was 90 years of age. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Gordon S. Hunter and son, Timothy Lane Hunter. She is survived by her son, Tom and his wife, Judy Hunter of Mountain View; grandson Tom Hunter and his wife, Anita Umesh of Mountain View; granddaughter Kristine Gamble and her husband, Jason Gamble of Mountain View; grandson James Hunter and his wife Danielle Hunter of Gilroy; granddaughter Rosella Saville and her husband James Saville of Maryland; great grandmother to Amanda Anne and Carson Thomas Gamble of Mountain View and Kiley Louise and Scarlett James Hunter of Gilroy; brother Tom Arnberg of Colorado; and sister-in-law, Charleen Arnberg of Gilroy.
Gracia had a career as a dental assistant to Dr. Warren Byers who became a good friend and companion for many years. Gracia was a long-time member of the Gilroy Elks, involved in Women In Touch, American Legion Auxiliary #419 and St. Stephens Church of Gilroy. Gracia will be laid to rest at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park. Donations in her memory to St. Stephens Church of Gilroy or a favorite charity are preferred and appreciated. A memorial service for family and friends is planned for November 1, 2014 (1 PM) at St. Stephens Church in Gilroy, CA.
