IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Glenita Marie
Gordon
August 27, 1948 – August 9, 2021
On August 9, 2021, we said goodbye to our lovely spirited Glenita, affectionately known to many as Woody.
If she were writing this, she would be thanking each and every person who added something to her life, not thinking about what she brought to theirs.
Her experience managing the Capitola Mall led to her opening the first phase of the Gilroy Premium Outlets and eventually having her own garlic and gift shop. But her real passion was her enthusiastic dedication to her community of Gilroy where she was a Gilroy Foundation Ambassador, a volunteer at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, the Gilroy Assistance League, Rebekah Children's Services, St. Joseph's Family Center Food Pantry and many other charities to benefit those in need.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Greg, her immediate and extended family, and the many friends very dear to her.
Glenita's true essence was her caring and generous heart and unconditionally reaching out to and supporting family, friends, and strangers. This was her gift to us and how we will remember her.
Her illness dimmed her light, but she will forever shine.
You may make a donation in Glenita's memory to St. Joseph's Family Center Food Pantry.
