Our beloved father, Gilbert Guzman at the age of 91 left us to journey home to everlasting life on March 20, 2023.

He was born on February 15, 1932 at his family's ranch in San Antonio de Olmos Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Clemente and Cornelia Guzman.

Dad ventured to California in 1954 where he worked in agriculture and as a ranch hand. His passion was gardening and farming. He enjoyed listening to music, playing his violin and the accordion. He spent 41 years of his happiest years with many animal pets roaming the Barbara Ranch. Dad was thoughtful, loving, comical, full of life and wisdom.

Gilbert leaves behind his wife Lilia, sons Gilbert Jr., Richard, Sylvia, Irma, sisters Lydia, Magdalena, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his sisters Emelia, Josefina, Rosita and, Ester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Santa Clara County Animal Shelter or your Local SPCA in Gilberts Memory. Animal pets big or small were his love.
