Gilbert Duran age 87 passed away to be with our heavenly father on December 15, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Lydia Duran and their four children; Gail Tamez, Debbi Rowe, Lawnie Farana and Gilbert Duran Jr.  11 grand kids 11 great grand kids. Loving brother, Uncle & friend to many. He loved his family dearly.

Before retiring he was an Operating Engineer. Owned his own heavy equipment construction company contracting out to O'Grady Paving for many years. He was the BEST in the West of Blade Operators. He loved his job!! In his younger years he could out run/sprint the young teens. He was a great dancer & singer. Sang the National Anthem at Candlestick Park 1996 last game. #1 SF Giants Fan!! He Did it His Way!

Funeral Mass will be held 1:00pm Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11 First St., Gilroy, CA. Burial to follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First St., Gilroy.
