Geri Allen passed away peacefully at age 82 at Pacific Hills Manor in Morgan Hill, California. Geraldine was pre-deceased by her parents, Romeo and Carmen Bosco of Gilroy. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Biafore (Bud), niece, Lani B. O'Mara (Shay), nephews Jeff Biafore, Brent Biafore, and Derek Biafore and great niece, Lia O'Mara and great nephew, Milo Biafore. Geri is also survived by her former husband, Donald Allen and many cousins, including Jerry Perino (Rosalind), Carolyn Tognetti (Ed), Jackie Labrucherie and Marian Ciabattari of Napa. Geri graduated from Gilroy Unified High School and San Jose State College (now university) with a BS degree in secondary education. Upon graduation from SJSU, Geri started her teaching career at Mother Butler Catholic High School (now Archbishop Mitty) teaching physical education and health classes.

Geri enjoyed all sports activities, especially playing golf and women's softball. Geri loved the outdoors and had a passion for cats and dogs. She enjoyed volunteering at her local animal shelter facility and was quick to help others in need with their animals. Pending covid restrictions, private funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Geraldine's memory to St. Joseph's Family Center, 7950 Church Street, Gilroy, CA 95020, or to a charity of your choice.
