Gerald Phillip Caravelli: May 24, 1940 – October 13, 2014 (74 years old) of Morgan Hill, California passed away on October 13, 2014 after fighting pancreatic cancer.

The services will be held at St. Catherine's Church in Morgan Hill on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 2:00pm.

Gerald (Jerry) was born in San Jose, CA on May 24, 1940. He graduated from Willow Glen High School in 1958 and was married to Patricia Gospodnetich in 1962.


Jerry was survived by his wife Patricia Caravelli, daughter Denise (Scott) Sims, son Michael (Camille) Caravelli and daughter Tonilynn (Bruce) Blair, grandchildren Jason and Brittany Sims, Grant and Camdyn Caravelli, Jacob and Zachary Blair and Great Grandson Nico Vincent Giacalone. He was also survived by his sister Teresa Rotolo and brother Vince Caravelli, sister-in-law Joan (Tony) Moyano and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Jerry was employed by PG&E for 23 years, then followed his passion of cooking and owned his own catering business for the next 30 years. After retirement he and his wife moved to Brentwood for 10 years, recently they relocated to Morgan Hill to be closer to family. Jerry loved to be with his family and friends, and loved to cook for all of them. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, painting and gardening.
