On March 14, 2014, the Robinson family lost their beloved father, George Washington Robinson. He passed away peacefully at the age of 92

George was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Robinson, Mother Marva Simpson, son Thomas Robinson, son-in-law Charles Cameron and sister and brother-in-law Bethel and Joe Hennigan.

George is survived by his daughters Pat Lappert, Geraldine Cameron, Lois and son-in-law Jim Palma, many nieces and nephews, good friend Nina Day and many other friends. George has nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way.

He had many accomplishments: he served in WWll in the Navy as an Aviation Electrician's Mate, he received his pilot license and flight engineer license where he worked for American Airlines for 36 years.

After his retirement he received his contractor and Broker license, sold real estate, and built many homes in Gilroy and San Martin.

George was active in Gilroy Elks and San Martin Lions where he helped build the clubhouse , he also served on the board of SIRS.

Friends and family are invited to a Veterans Graveside ceremony at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy, CA. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 9:00 A.M.

Memorial Service will follow at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth Street, Gilroy, CA. at 11:OOAM.

In lieu of flowers donations to San Martin Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 203, San Martin, California, 95046 are preferred and appreciated.
