George L. Kelley, 90, of Campbell, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017. George was born in Baxter Springs, KS to George Lee and Dona Belle Kelley on June 5, 1927. In 1945, George married the love of his life of 65 years, Mary "Rosalie" Kelley. In 1959, George and Rosalie made the move to California, and eventually settled in Campbell where they raised their family. George owned and operated a successful Tire Outlet Store from the early 1960's through the mid 1980's when he retired. He was a long-time member of the San Jose Elks and was an avid bowler. George was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie, and was the last survivor of his parent's 14 children. George is survived by this loving family; son Rod Kelley of Gilroy; daughters Cathy Engles (Kurt) of Hollister, Henri Tveitnes of Las Vegas, and Charla Kelley (Ron Ventling) of South Lake Tahoe; grandchildren Jim Giancola, Lisa Benson, Tomi Tveitnes, Shelley Giancola, Sandi Liberatore, Billy Tveitnes, Amanda Avery, Nicholas Pearsall, and Patricia Pritchard; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law Lois Kelley. A service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. Viewing at 10:00 a.m., with a service at 11:00 a.m. A cemetery service will follow immediately at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park in Gilroy.
