Gone too soon, but forever our angel and in our hearts, is Gary Michael Swenson, who passed away on July 31st, 2023 after a bravely fought battle after receiving a heart and kidney transplant. He was born on November 10th, 1971 in San Jose, CA to Gary and Laura Swenson, and provided countless moments of laughter, levity, and love that was like none other. He could see the humor in almost any situation, including at his own self many times throughout his life. His smile and laughter were a light he shined like a beacon through his beautiful blue eyes, that will stay etched in the memories we'll cherish until we see him again.

He graduated from Willow Glen High School in 1990, going on to get his Associates Degree and working hard throughout his life while creating his own family and raising his children. Blessings he could count, that he reluctantly left behind, were his lovely wife Christina Miguel, parents Gary and Laura Swenson, daughter Lyvia Swenson-Virdell (Andrew), sons Aiden and Logan Swenson, sister Katie Poppinga (Jeff), brother Scott Swenson (Amy), and mountains of other family and friends who miss him every day. Knowing he is now reunited with his angel baby, daughter Xzendria Swenson, is a little bit of solace in what seems like an abyss of grief.

A Celebration of Life will be held for him on Saturday, August 26th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the Smith residence: 16895 Malbec Drive in Morgan Hill, CA.
