Frank Sendejas long term resident and community member of the city of Gilroy died in Elk Grove, CA at the age of 88 years old. Beloved husband to Juanita "Jennie" Lerma for 65 years and father to 4 sons and one daughter Frank Jr. (deceased), Edward (deceased), Juanita Sendejas Lopez of Elk Grove, Aurelio Sendejas of Morgan Hill and John Sendejas of Elk Grove, CA. Father-in-Law to Lourdes Sendejas and Carlos Lopez. Grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren: Nadia Perez, Jennie Lopez, Carlos Lopez Jr., Anthony Lopez, Victoria Sendejas all of Elk Grove and Stevie Ray Sendejas, Sarah Sendejas and Marissa Sendejas of Morgan Hill, CA. Great Grand father to Benecio and Santino Perez of Elk Grove.
Frank was active Gilroyan involved in many local organizations including the CSO and the Sociedad Funeraria Mexicana. He worked the fields as a young man who would eventually work at Gentry's, Gilroy Foods Inc. and at the Habing Family Funeral Home throughout his lifetime.
Frank was the eldest son of Francisco and Francesca Sendejas (deceased). Frank is survived by Josephine Sendejas of Seattle, Washington, Angelo Sendejas of San Francisco, and Marylou De Vivo of San Jose.
Frank died peacefully in his home with his wife Jennie and loved ones at his side.

Vigil services will be held on Friday June 18, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy. Viewing will begin at the church at 11:00 AM until mass time. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 900 First Street, Gilroy.
